Ooooh I have been craving a dress exactly like this ever since the first Victorian-era flashback on Angel and/or Buffy the Vampire Slayer (my mind is want for details as the years go by). This dress arrived today and more than delivers. The blue (and I assume purple) are satin all over to add a sultry, soft and romantic flair to the proceedings. A word of advice for my trans, drag, gender nonbinary, or cis sisters of unusual carriage -- this dress more than accommodates broader shoulders -- just order a size up. I am a 42" bust, 35" waist but ordered a size up (the 2XL) to ensure I didn't get a Wah-Wah as I tried to wiggle into it -- shoulders fit like a dream, there's a bit of room in the bust, and the corset straps in the back totally cinch the waist to size. The fabric is gorgeous, so you feel authentic to the era and less of a costume queen. Beyond happy. Apologies to the next UPS or AMZL driver because I just may be wearing this about the house when I answer the door for my next delivery.

Great costume. Very well made out of good materials. A tad small and very long. Had to hem it. Great buy for the money. Good tons of compliments at a historic expo!!

This item came earlier than expected, fit perfectly (I did order a size up since the reviews were accurate, please go by the sizing chart), is beautifully made. It is as pretty as it looks! I bought it for a Murder Mystery Event set in 1857, it will be perfect!
